Dr. Collucci's unique career began with training in the U.S. Army. He served a tour of duty with the 91st Evacuation Hospital in Vietnam and achieved the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve. His formal medical training was at the University of Health Sciences in Kansas City, Missouri. He then continued his medical education by completing residency training in Anesthesiology and sub-specialty training in Acute & Chronic Pain Management at the University of South Florida in Tampa. He later developed an interest in the vein problems that cause pain in the legs. This led to the study under some of the most noted vein specialists in the country. Dr. Collucci successfully completed the examination for Cardiovascular Credentialing International which distinguishes him as a Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RPhS). He now spends all his professional time treating vein diseases. Before establishing the Vein Treatment Center of Palm Coast with Dr. Stein, Dr. Collucci served as the Assistant Medical Director of Vein Associates of Orlando, The Medical Director of the Carolina Vein Center and Vein Help Clinic of the Triangle in Durham, North Carolina.
Dr. Stein was born and raised in Sanford, Florida. He attended the University of Georgia and graduated with a degree in Pharmacy. He later attended medical school at the Autonomous University of Guadalajara and the Medical College of Georgia and received his M.D. degree. He completed residency training in OB-GYN at the University of Tennessee and achieved Board Certification. Dr. Stein was a pioneer in the field of laparoscopic surgery performing the areas first hysterectomy via the laparoscope and assisted local surgeons in the performance of the areas first laparoscopic gall bladder surgery. He obtained sub specialty training in Infertility and performed the first Volusia County IVF including IVF resultant births. Dr. Stein has over 25 years of Ultrasound and Laser experience and was elected a Fellow of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery in 1984 and in 2012 was elected as an active member of the American Venous Forum. His micro surgical and ultrasound skills were useful in mastering the techniques of endovascular laser closure therapy (EVLT) used at the Vein Treatment Center by Dr.'s Stein and Collucci. Dr. Stein received training in the techniques of vein therapy and served as principle physician of Vein Associates of Metro West in Orlando and was the Medical Director of the Daytona Laser and Vein Center prior to starting his Vein Treatment Center practice with Dr. Collucci.
