Spider vein
treatment is essentially cosmetic and usually performed by injection of
solutions into these veins via a tiny needle. This method of treatment
is called sclerotherapy and
because the needles are so tiny, the procedure is virtually painless.
The solutions essentially "destroys" the spider veins and the body
reabsorbs these tiny veins and they usually disappear with time. Lasers
are another method of treatment and at times laser and sclerotherapy
are utilized as a combined treatment.
